onefifteen has collaborated with Portuguese textile artist Vanessa Barrag\u00e3o on a project themed \"Oceans.\" The exhibition will feature several installation art pieces and introduce limited-edition products exclusive to Taiwan. This collaboration aims not only to deepen the audience's understanding of textile art but also to inspire creativity and fresh ideas in everyday life through the exhibition.

Artist Vanessa Barrag\u00e3o's installation, \"Living Coral,\" showcased in the greenhouse area of onefifteen, is specially designed for this exhibition. The piece is inspired by the concept of dialogue with the space, presenting delicate seaweeds and vibrant coral reefs in pastel tones. This creates a lush marine landscape that transforms the store's interior into an underwater world. It pushes the boundaries of artistic form, crafting a home aesthetic inspired by the enchanting scenery of the deep sea.

Growing up by the sea, artist Vanessa Barrag\u00e3o has always been deeply connected to the ocean, which has served as an endless source of inspiration for her work. However, she is increasingly concerned about the threats posed to her beloved marine environment by rising sea temperatures and industrial pollution. Through her art, she aims to raise awareness about ocean conservation.\n\nVanessa Barrag\u00e3o specializes in creating exquisite tapestries using recycled and eco-friendly materials. She transforms discarded factory yarn into stunning depictions of underwater worlds through her skilled techniques. Using traditional crafts such as carpet embroidery, hand tufting, crochet, and tassel trims, she vividly represents various marine forms with a layered, three-dimensional effect. Her use of vibrant colors brings the underwater realm to life, making each piece a vivid portrayal of oceanic beauty.\n\nBarrag\u00e3o\u2019s bold and artistic creations have garnered widespread acclaim. She has been invited to create textile installations for exhibitions and interior spaces, showcasing her unique ability to blend artistry with environmental consciousness.

In the summer of 2019, onefifteen, in collaboration with Portuguese textile artist Vanessa Barrag\u00e3o, created a serene and magnificent underwater world in the bustling heart of Taipei.
