Junya Watanabe, qui entretient des liens \u00e9troits avec la cr\u00e9atrice de COMME des GARCONS, Rei Kawakubo, et qui est un ancien \u00e9l\u00e8ve de l'\u00e9cole de mode la plus influente du Japon, le Tokyo Bunka Fashion Institute, est connu pour ses cr\u00e9ations exp\u00e9rimentales novatrices, audacieuses et technologiquement avanc\u00e9es. En 1984, Junya Watanabe a obtenu son dipl\u00f4me de mouliste \u00e0 la CDG et a rapidement \u00e9t\u00e9 promu designer en chef de la collection Tricot, puis designer en chef de CDG Homme. En 1992, il lance sa propre marque \u00e9ponyme au sein de COMME des GARCONS. Il est passionn\u00e9 par l'utilisation de tissus techniques innovants et par la recherche de nouvelles possibilit\u00e9s dans le domaine des textiles, d\u00e9veloppant un style am\u00e9ricano-japonais unique.<\/p>

La collection de v\u00eatements pour hommes de la marque se concentre sur la cr\u00e9ation de pi\u00e8ces simples et sophistiqu\u00e9es, fonctionnelles et aux silhouettes classiques.
