Neil Barrett, cr\u00e9ateur de mode britannique issu d'une famille de tailleurs, est dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 du Central St Martin's College de Londres en 1990. Son travail de fin d'\u00e9tudes a attir\u00e9 l'attention de Tom Ford, qui l'a ensuite employ\u00e9 comme cr\u00e9ateur de v\u00eatements pour hommes chez GUCCI pendant cinq ans, avant de devenir directeur de la cr\u00e9ation masculine chez PRADA en 1995, lan\u00e7ant une vague de v\u00eatements pour hommes de haute couture gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son style de cr\u00e9ation minimaliste.

Neil Barrett a lanc\u00e9 sa marque \u00e9ponyme avec une collection de v\u00eatements pour hommes en 1999, avant de pr\u00e9senter sa collection de v\u00eatements pour femmes \u00e0 la semaine de la mode de Milan en 2006. Neil Barrett est dou\u00e9 pour transposer l'inspiration de la mode masculine \u00e0 la mode f\u00e9minine, en raison de l'esprit du tailleur britannique traditionnel qu'il a dans le sang. Le travail, que ce soit en termes de structure, de lignes ou de couleurs, conserve la simplicit\u00e9 et la propret\u00e9 habituelles, mais le design ne perd pas l'esprit exp\u00e9rimental unique du St. Martin's College, interpr\u00e9tant l'esth\u00e9tique d\u00e9construite entre le calme et l'introspection, avec un peu de couleur, mais sans exc\u00e8s, et un peu de design, mais sans exag\u00e9ration.
