Fondata nel 2010 dal designer Yohan Serfaty, Y\/PROJECT \u00e8 stata rilevata da Glenn Martens, laureato alla Royal Academy of Fine Arts di Anversa, in Belgio, che in precedenza aveva lavorato sotto la guida dello stilista francese Jean Paul Gaultier, un'esperienza che ha influenzato notevolmente il marchio belga.
