Born in Colombia, Silvia Tcherassi is a designer, writer and hotelier with more than 25 years of design experience, and has been recognized by WWD as "the designer who revolutionized fashion in Latin America". Her designs are elegant as a ballerina, but also rockstar-like, with the hope that those who wear her clothes will feel confident. Silvia also specializes in incorporating spatial design concepts and the passion of South American Latin culture into her fashion, a subtle interplay between geometry and nature that inspired the groundbreaking presentations at Paris Fashion Week, both of which have become a source of inspiration for SILVIA TCHERASSI's creative world. The early fall 2023 collection is inspired by Coconut Grove, a small town nestled along the Miami coastline, a location that pays homage to the brand's roots, an area where Silvia opened her first American boutique 25 years ago and influenced the collection's luxurious, transitional bohemian style.
