Y/PROJECT was founded in 2010 by designer Yohan Serfaty and later taken over by Glenn Martens, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, who had previously worked under the renowned French designer Jean Paul Gaultier. This experience significantly influenced the Belgian brand. Since Glenn Martens became the creative director in 2013, Y/PROJECT has drawn inspiration from a blend of historical and modern cultural elements, pushing the boundaries of contemporary design through unconventional cuts and gender-neutral silhouettes. The brand focuses on innovation, seamlessly integrating street culture with a neutral aesthetic, redefining designer wear with a collection of forward-thinking ready-to-wear and accessories.
