Designer Pauline D’Haenens founded the brand Mon Dada in 2019 at her home in New York, and later returned to her hometown in Belgium to continue her pursuit of the elegance and sustainability of fragrance candles, diffusers, and other aromatic products. Combining both soft and hard characteristics, the brand uses a minimalist style to hand-craft concrete containers that encase its carefully curated range of all-natural home fragrance products. The brand’s signature "Mon Dada Personality" scent is composed of plant oils immersed in a blend of soy and coconut wax. Once the candle has burned down, the concrete container can be repurposed as a flower pot or various other vessels, truly embodying the concept of "lingering on."
