KSUBI

From the streets to fashion week and then into the international arena, Australian label KSUBI has done something no other label can match. Back in 1999, founders Dan Single and George Gorrow, out of their love for clothing, started to collect jeans from a friend's garage and vandalized and aged them with the tools of a garage mechanic at hand, and sold them in small quantities in the local market. Unlike the usual glitz and glamor of fashion week, KSUBI brings a sense of youth culture and exuberance.

"KSUBI depicts the change we've brought to the fashion world and the collective creative spirit of the brand, and we don't have an interpretation of the word". Representing Australia's local surf culture and extending to the label's interpretation of music, art and subculture, KSUBI has been loved by international celebrities for its rebellious brand style that has endured.

Jumping away from the brand's classic jeans, in recent years, KSUBI has been focusing more on material, prints, sportswear and jackets; these are contemporary interpretations of fashion. In addition to maintaining the brand's soul, KSUBI also skillfully blends the fashions of each period and promotes co-branding with new brands, implicitly becoming a firm force in the fashion industry that speaks out for street culture.
