Taiwan's fashion curator, Onefifteen, embodies the philosophy of beautiful living, not only leading Taiwanese consumers to align with international fashion trends but also aiming to infuse modern urban life with more aesthetic energy. From October 16 to November 15, 2021, Onefifteen is partnering with the Japanese designer brand Kolor to present a series of curated photographic works by designer Junichi Abe and renowned photographer Daido Moriyama. The exhibition will be held at the Da'an flagship store and the Taichung Big City store.

Since its founding in 2004, Kolor has showcased each season’s designs and inspirations through lookbooks, imagery, and fashion shows. To fully convey the new dimensions and perspectives of the Fall/Winter 2021 collection, designer Junichi Abe has collaborated with his admired and inspiring world-renowned photographer, Daido Moriyama. Together, they explore and present the collection from a fresh, visual perspective.

Born in 1938, Daido Moriyama is one of the most renowned contemporary Japanese photographers, celebrated for his street photography and often hailed as a "street photography legend." He is known for his use of gritty, high-contrast particles, out-of-focus, and motion-blurred techniques to capture the beauty of culture across different times and spaces. His extensive body of work has been exhibited in over 20 countries and is housed in major art museums worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. In this rare cross-disciplinary collaboration, Moriyama brings a fresh interpretation to Kolor’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection, merging fashion with his unique photographic vision.

Kolor has named this collaboration "撮" (pronounced "Satsu"), which literally translates to "photographing" in Japanese. The series features moments spontaneously captured by Daido Moriyama in May of this year at the Kolor studio in Tokyo. These 43 works vividly and powerfully showcase the Fall/Winter 2021 collection that designer Junichi Abe was developing at the time. Starting October 16, 2021, the collection will be exhibited at Kolor’s flagship stores in Japan, 10 Corso Como SEOUL AVENUEL in South Korea, and will be exclusively displayed in Taiwan at Onefifteen.
