Winner of the first prize in the “Who Is On Next” competition organized by Vogue Italia and Alta Roma in 2017, the womenswear brand ACT N°1 was founded by Luca Lin and Galib Gassanoff in Italy at the beginning of 2016, with a name that means "The First Act of Life". The two designers are strongly influenced by their respective backgrounds and specialize in combining traditional culture with modern design, combining classical Chinese elements with Azerbaijani craftsmanship, and presenting nostalgic aesthetics in a modern way through their multicultural perspective. ACT N°1's experimental design style has quickly set them apart from the rest of the fashion world.
