Courrèges was founded in 1961 by futuristic French designer Mr. André Courrèges and his wife Coqueline Courrèges. André Courrèges was the favorite student of Cristóbal Balenciaga, the founder of Balenciaga, and the brand's logo at the time was represented by the abbreviation "AC". At the time, the brand's logo was represented by the acronym "AC", and his designs liberated people from skinny-waisted fashions, which were avant-garde at the time.
