In 1992, Turkish sister designers Ayşe Ege and Ece Ege, then ESMOD graduate students in Paris, created 15 white poplin shirts that garnered attention in the fashion world. Seizing the opportunity, they quickly founded their own brand and established a foothold in Paris with their exotic clothing. They later launched ready-to-wear and haute couture collections. Over the years, the sisters have combined tradition and modernity in their Dice Kayek brand, drawing inspiration from film, art, and personal memories. They express this inspiration in their designs, using architectural lines to create garments. Dice Kayek's exaggerated silhouettes, combined with traditional Turkish embroidery, minimalist French romance, and Middle Eastern cultural influences, create a unique style that is both classic and modern.
