Maison Kitsuné began in Paris but has never been limited to just one place. “We want to create a brand that showcases life as art — Maison Kitsuné embodies passion, ambition, and desire.” Founded by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki in 2002, Kitsuné encompasses a fashion brand, Maison Kitsuné, a music label, Kitsuné Musique, and a lifestyle brand, Café Kitsuné, which includes cafés, bakeries, bars, and restaurants.

The multicultural background of the brand has endowed it with a broad vision, leading to numerous collaborations with a wide range of diverse brands. In an era where cross-industry collaborations are constantly emerging, Kitsuné has precisely grasped the pulse of the times. The two founders, like keen-eyed hunters, have expanded the brand's boundaries while providing contemporary young people with a more varied and enriching fashion experience."Kitsune" means "fox" in Japanese, and in Japanese culture, the fox represents a playful and ever-changing character. This symbolism reflects the brand's versatility in fashion design, color usage, and tailoring, as well as its endless creativity.
