Peter Do, a designer from Vietnam, graduated from the New York Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), a renowned school of fashion design in the United States, and the fusion of multiple pioneering cultures in fashion has given him a unique insight into clothing and architecture. Founded in January 2018, the eponymous brand injects strong, bold personal colors into the brand with a clever combination of iconic deconstruction and splicing. The chemical reactions between different colors and materials collide to make the layers and structures more distinct.
The brand specializes in combining deconstruction and splicing. Each shirt, suit or leather jacket can be disassembled and reassembled with each other to create a new pattern, giving a sense of layering of fabrics and a sense of structure. In addition, Peter Do's pioneering tailoring is the biggest factor that makes his designs stand out amongst independent designers, breaking away from the fixed mindset of complete coverage of suits and coats, with unexpected divisions and craftsmanship.
