PLISSE KNIT BAG
Re-examining the fabrics that we touch every day and are accustomed to in our daily lives, and viewing them repeatedly from different perspectives, the thickness of craftsmanship is incorporated into each process of weaving, sewing and printing, and is gently interpreted.

- Production of objects -
The fabric of the Plisse Knit Bag is knitted to create a three-dimensional pleated texture during the knitting process. The molding technique used for each bag also creates a three-dimensional pleated texture at the end of the weaving process.
The finished silhouette eliminates the process of cutting and the creation of excess waste fabric. During the printing process, the technique of printing on the pleat side alone is also challenging. In view of the characteristics of knitted fabrics with rolled edges, it was necessary to check the prints by hand and send them to the printer, and I still laugh and cry when I think of the days when I had to fight with the masters at the printing house. The master would say, "Oh, this is not going to work," but he would carefully smooth out the fabric and send it to the printer. The surface of the printed fabric can be seen in the extension of the pattern and the background color changes, and the print pattern will also generate a rhythm with the change of the shape of the contents. each method of the Plisse Knit Bag, in the process of weaving, sewing, sewing, and printing, all contain different levels of craftsmanship and technology. The creation of the bag from a single yarn is the result of repeated weaving and reviewing by the maker.
