Founded in 2013 by husband and wife team Saeed Al-Rubeyi and Katy Al-Rubeyi, the British brand Story mfg. started out as an online sharing and customizing venture, which was a huge success and later attracted the attention of the world's most iconic fashion buyers, making the brand's reputation soar. Slow made, Made with nature is the most appropriate way to describe the Story mfg. brand. Out of a desire for fashion to be more authentic, more fulfilling and more intimate, without the need to weigh aesthetics against consciousness, the couple works in an atelier in the Indian forests with dyers, weavers, embroiderers and seamstresses, committed to the concepts of environmental protection and sustainability to benefit the planet, and Story mfg. never uses off-the-shelf fabrics, but rather makes them from scratch. For example, it took three years to make corduroy and five years to make T-shirts. Natural dyes are used to achieve the desired color and effect on all the pieces, and all the crochet flowers and embroidery patterns are made by the seamstresses, one stitch at a time. Even after the success of the brand, they continue to focus on their own unique concept.
