"ROKH is a conceptual art that belongs to fashion; a record of contemporary youth culture." Rok Hwang, a graduate of St. Martin's College of Art in London, studied under Phoebe Philo and has worked at LV, Chloé and CELINE. Rok Hwang launched her eponymous label the year after winning the LVMH Prize in 2018. Combining art, music craft, performance, graphics and photography, ROKH expands these elements into a new language of fashion through the use of fabrics, capturing the boldness and fragility of youth culture, the luxury and practicality of the clothing world, and the softness and rigidity of personality traits, ROKH uses sophisticated craftsmanship to give touch and reconstruction to different styles, and to interpret the contemporary aesthetics unique to his heart.
